August 23rd, 2014 - Billy Moyer Jr. traveled to Alabama and Mississippi over the weekend for a doubleheader with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS).

On Friday night Billy entered a $3,000-to-win event at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama), where he went into battle against a field of twenty-three entries. He qualified fourth fastest in his group to earn a spot the seventh starting spot in the dash. Moyer Jr. advanced to a sixth place finish to lock into the sixth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. in the feature he raced to as high as the second spot before settling into a sixth place finish.

The team invaded Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday evening for another $3,000-to-win affair. Billy transferred to the pole-sitter's dash and raced to a fourth place finish to earn the fourth starting spot for the feature event. Billy raced in the top five throughout the feature, challenging David Breazeale for the lead at times. He would go on to crash the finish line in the fourth position behind race winner, Breazeale, Chris Wall, and Rick Rickman.

Billy also received a $300 bonus for having the second highest, average finish for the weekend behind Chris Wall. Full results from the events are available at www.StateSeries.com.

1August 16th, 2014 - The COMP Cams Topless 100 presented by Crop Production Services was held over the weekend at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas).

Billy went into battle in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event, and began his weekend on Friday night by advancing from the third starting spot to a second place finish in his heat race, which locked him into the eighth starting spot on the grid for Saturday night's $40,000-to-win, 100 lap finale.

Early in the finale Moyer Jr. raced in the top ten before making a trip to the hot pit area for changes during a caution flag. He rejoined the tail of the field temporarily before retiring to a 24th place finish.

1August 2nd , 2014 - Billy Moyer Jr. entered the opening round of the 27th Annual USA Nationals on Thursday evening as a $6,000-to-win event was contested at the 3/8 mile oval. A strong field of 53 Super Late Models entered the event, and a second place finish in his heat race locked Moyer Jr. into the twelfth starting spot for the feature. Early in the 40 lap finale Billy raced into the top tne before settling into a seventeenth place finish in the final rundown.

Preliminary action for the $50,000-to-win event was held on Friday night, and with fifty entries on hand Billy advanced to a second place finish in his heat race to lock into the tenth starting spot for Saturday night's 100 lap finale.

After seeing the start of the program delayed an hour on Saturday by rain action finally commenced at the 3/8 mile oval. Moyer Jr. enjoyed a great run in the feature as he began working his way forward in the field at the drop of the green flag. He raced to as high as the fourth position before slipping to the fifth position on the final lap. He crossed the finish line in front of the capacity crowd behind race winner, Jimmy Owens, Bobby Pierce, Jimmy Mars, and Steve Francis.
