1June 29th, 2014 - After a rainout on Friday at Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Kentucky) followed by mechanical issues that night at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois) Billy returned to action with the UMP Summernationals on Saturday at Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri). Thirty eight entries took part in the event and Billy qualified for the finale via preliminary action before racing to an 18th place finish.

Sunday night action took the team Lincoln Speedway for a $5,000-to-win, Hell Tour event. After qualifying second fastest in his group Billy started on the pole of his heat race and led early before Brady Smith slipped past for the lead. Moyer Jr. went on to finish second to lock him into the sixth starting spot for the 40 lap finale. Billy ran in the top five for much of the event and was running fourth with just four laps remaining, when a rough surface finally took its toll on the #21jr entry as a part's failure ended his night in the sixteenth position.

1June 21st, 2014 - Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway (Calvert City, Kentucky) has always been a special place for Billy Moyer Jr. because it was the scene of his very first Super Late Model event in 2006. In 2014 the facility has become even more special as he won the $10,000 Bluegrass Nationals back in April, and on Saturday night he returned to score the $3,000 victory.

Seventeen Super Late Models entered the program, and Billy earned the sixth starting spot for the feature via preliminary action. By lap 12 Moyer Jr. had advanced to the second spot behind race leader, Dane Dacus. Lap 13 found Dacus seeing his night end as he slammed into the turn one wall. Once out front Billy cruised to the $3,000 win, which marked his fifth win of 2014. He was followed across the finish line by Tanner English, Terry English, Randy Sellars, and Justin Asplin.

June 20th, 2014 - After seeing the scheduled series opener at Brownstown Speedway fall victim to Mother Nature on Wednesday night the 2014 edition of the UMP Summernationals finally opened on Thursday evening at Kankakee Count Speedway (Kankakee, Illinois). Thirty-one Super Late Models entered the $5,000-to-win event, and Billy started his night by qualifying second before winning his heat race to earn a spot in the redraw. The redraw presented Moyer Jr. with the outside-front-row starting spot, and he paced the field for the first eight laps before power steering issues began to plague him. His dad slipped by for the lead on lap 9, and a few laps later Moyer Jr. would have to retire as he completely lost power steering.

Friday night found Billy competing in the $5,000-to-win, opening round of the Masters at Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin), where 32 entries registered for competition. A fourth place finish in his heat race moved Moyer Jr. to the feature in the 14th starting spot. He went on to claw his way to a 10th place finish.

Another rainout struck the tour on Saturday night so the team enjoyed an off night before resuming action on Sunday at Wilmot Raceway (Wilmot, Wisconsin), where Billy advanced to an eleventh place finish.

Tuesday night took Jr. Motorsports to Farley Speedway (Farley, Iowa) as a $10,000 winner's purse was posted for the Hell Tour event at the shortened, 3/8 mile oval. With twenty-four entries on hand Billy started seventh in the feature after finishing fourth in his heat race. In the finale he enjoyed a solid run to a seventh place finish.

The Hell Tour was able to dodge Mother Nature on Wednesday night at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Illinois), where another $5,000-to-win slate was contested. Thirty-five cars entered the program, and Billy qualified second fastest in his group to earn the pole for his heat race. Moyer Jr. dueled past Bobby Pierce to take the win as he moved onto the feature's redraw. After receiving the fourth starting spot for the feature Moyer Jr. battled in the top five for most of the event before finishing seventh at the checkered flag.

Billy's week of UMP Summernationals action drew to a close on Friday night at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois) with a $10,000 victory at the facility. Billy's night began with a thrilling heat race win over Ryan Unzicker to move onto the redraw for the feature. Moyer Jr. started fourth on the grid for the feature and raced his way into the second spot late in the race, and that's where he would finish behind race winner, Billy Moyer.

June 7th, 2014 - Billy Moyer Jr. opened the 20th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream on Thursday night at the famed Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) as seventy-eight entries took part in the program, which was highlighted by twin $2,500-to-win features.

Via his qualifying effort Billy started fourth in his heat race and advanced to a second place finish to lock into the sixth starting spot for the 25 lap main event. Moyer Jr. raced in the top ten for much of the event before an ill-handling car pushed him back to a 13th place finish at the checkered flag.

Friday night found the winner's purse increased as a pair of $5,000-to-win events were on the docket. While heat race action left Billy short of advancing to the feature, a win in his b-main positioned him starting eighteen for the 25 lap affair. He would go on to pass four cars to finish fourteenth.

The weekend drew to a close on Saturday evening with the $100,000 finale being held. Unfortunately Billy failed to earn a starting spot in the finale as his weekend came to an early end.
