1November 22nd, 2014 - Billy Moyer Jr. set out to enter his final event of the 2014 campaign over the weekend as the team made the long haul to El Paso Speedway Park (El Paso, Texas).

It was a strong start to the doubleheader for Moyer Jr. as he drove his #21JR Mesilla Valley Transportation/Crop Production Services/Xtreme by Longhorn entry to a $2,500 triumph on Friday night. Twenty-two Super Late Models converged on the 3/8 mile oval for Round #1 of the Inaugural Turkey Hunt, and Billy won his heat race to lock into the 25 lap feature. Moyer Jr. stalked race-long leader, Rodney Sanders throughout the course of the caution plagued event. His persistent high-side challenges finally paid off as he assumed the point on a restart with just three laps remaining. Moyer Jr. kept Sanders at bay in the closing laps to score his first career victory at the West Texas oval. Sanders settled for second, followed by Don Shaw, R.C. Whitwell and Jason Krohn rounding out the top five finishers.

Saturday night saw the winner's purse increase to $3,000, as twenty-two entries would return to do battle. Looking to capitalize on a stellar start to the weekend, Moyer Jr. used a heat race win to lock into the outside-front-row for the 30 lap finale. When the race went green, Billy outdueled pole sitter, Bumper Jones to lead lap one. From there, Moyer Jr. fought back challenges from Rodney Sanders to lead wire-to-wire for the victory, sweeping the Inaugural Turkey Hunt weekend. Sanders once again finished a close second, followed by Jason Krohn, Don Shaw and Garrett Alberson rounding out the top five finishers. JRP Photography Photo

1November 8th, 2014 - Billy Moyer Jr. took his #21jr Moyer Xtreme by Longhorn/Pro Power Racing Super Late Model into battle over the weekend at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway (Concord, North Carolina) during the 8th Annual World Finals.

The season finale for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series saw Thursday night's program highlighted by two qualifying rounds for the seventy-five entrants, which determined the heat race line-ups for Friday and Saturday's $12,000-to-win events.

Friday night saw Moyer Jr. starting sixth in his heat race where he would finish, relegating him to a b-main. In the b-main Billy raced to a fifth place finish but, with only the top two finishers transferring to the main event his night would come to an early end.

Billy enjoyed a much better outing on Saturday night when he started on the pole of his heat race, and went on to claim the win to earn a spot in the evenings re-draw. He was the recipient of the fifth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. Unfortunately, while battling for the third position on lap eight of the feature Moyer Jr. spun to avoid a stopped car. He was send to the tail of the field and would recover to a sixteenth place finish.
