August 28th, 2016 - Following the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Billy Moyer Jr. was one of 40 Super Late Models signed in at Merritt Speedway (Lake City, Michigan) on Friday night for the two-day special event. After posting the 2nd fastest time in his group of 20 cars, Moyer Jr. captured a heat race win giving him the 3rd-starting position for the feature. Losing four positions in the opening night 25-lap A-Main, Billy recorded a 7th place finish.

After the weather postponed Saturday night’s event to Sunday, Moyer Jr. placed 2nd in his heat behind Rick Eckert earning him the 3rd-starting spot again for the Keyser's Great Lakes Shootout $10,000-to-win A-Main. Falling one position short of a Top 5 outing, Billy dropped three spots in the 50-lapper registering a 6th place finish.

August 14th, 2016 - Making the trip out east with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Billy Moyer Jr. was one of 37 Super Late Models signed in at Delaware International Raceway (Delmar, Delaware) on Thursday night for the Fulton Bank 50. After laying down the fourth fastest time in his group, Moyer Jr. got spun out in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Storming to a 10-lap consolation win, Billy earned the 18th-starting spot for the feature. Moving up one position in the 50-lapper, Billy Moyer Jr. logged a 17th place outing.

The following night brought 39 WoO series followers to Potomac Speedway (Budds Creek, Maryland) for the Gunter’s Honey 50. Transferring the top four out of the heats, Moyer Jr. logged a 6th place finish sending him into the B-Main. Needing a 3rd place finish or better to make the show, Billy streaked to a 10-lap consolation win giving him the 23rd-starting position for the feature. Working his way through the field ten spots in the 50-lap A-Main, Billy Moyer Jr. posted a 13th place finish.

The next stop for World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series was at Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Virginia) on Saturday night for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Following the 4th fastest time in his group of 16 cars, Billy placed 2nd in his heat behind Josh Richards putting him 2nd on the starting grid for the main event. Jumping into the lead on the very first lap, Billy Moyer Jr. stormed to his first career World of Outlaws victory leading every lap of the 50-lap A-Main topping Jason Covert, Shane Clanton, Josh Richards, and Dale Hollidge. Closing out the four-day stint with the WoO series, Moyer Jr. stopped at Eriez Speedway (Erie, Pennsylvania) on Sunday. Falling one position short of a transfer spot into the feature with a 5th place outing in his heat, Billy cruised to B-Main victory earning him the 17th-starting spot for the feature. Passing three cars in the 50-lapper, Billy Moyer Jr. registered a 14th place finish.

August 6th, 2016 - On Tuesday night Billy Moyer Jr. returned with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series traveling to Shawano Speedway (Shawano, Wisconsin) for the Sundrop Shootout. In a field of 28 cars, Moyer Jr. followed up the 8th fastest time overall in qualifying with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Jimmy Mars. Starting in 6th for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Billy dropped two spots in the 50-lap affair registering a 8th place finish.

After a night off on Wednesday, Moyer Jr. headed to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) on Thursday night for the three-day USA Nationals. Drawing a stout field of 50 Super Late Models, Billy logged a 5th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Needing a 2nd place finish or better to make the show, Moyer Jr. edged his way into the $6,000-to-win feature with a 2nd place finish behind Shane Clanton. Coming from the 24th-starting spot in the feature, Billy Moyer Jr. streaked through the field 12 spots in the 30-lapper reeling in a 12th place outing.

Needing a 3rd place finish or better in his heat race on Friday to make the USA Nationals A-Main on Saturday night, Billy landed a 3rd place finish edging his way into the main event.
