February 20th, 2016 - Continuing on with Florida-Georgia speed-weeks, Billy Moyer Jr. headed south to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) for the opening night of the UMP DIRTcar Nationals on Monday. Drawing forty-four Super Late Models, Billy timed in 2nd in his group earning him a front row starting spot for his heat. Holding off Josh Richards late-race charge, Moyer Jr. captured a heat race victory. Starting on the front row alongside Dennis Erb Jr for the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Billy Moyer Jr. took the lead on the very first lap and held on for the next 29 to score his first victory of the 2016 season. Following his big win on Monday, Billy was one of fifty-one cars signed in on Tuesday night at Volusia Speedway Park. Transferring the top three out of the heats and into the feature, Moyer Jr. fell one position short with a 4th place outing. Cruising to a 10-lap consolation win, Billy earned a 19th place starting spot for the feature. Working his way through the field nine positons, Billy Moyer Jr. recorded a 10th place finish in the 30-lapper.

Competing in the final UMP DIRTcar Nationals event of the week, Moyer Jr fell short of a transfer spot in his heat with a 7th place outing. Coming one position short of a transfer spot in his B-Main, Billy had to rely on the use of a provisional to make the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Starting way back in 25th for the feature, Billy Moyer Jr. advanced ten spots in the 40-lap affair notching a 15th place outing.

For the first night of World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO) action, Billy Moyer Jr was one of fifty-eight entries signed in on Thursday night. Failing to his a transfer spot in his heat, Billy transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the main event. Battling for a 2nd spot or better, Moyer Jr. logged a 5th place outing in the 10-lap event.

After recording the 9th fastest time in his qualifying group, Billy Moyer Jr. grabbed the last transfer spot in his heat with a 3rd place outing. With $10,000 on the line in the feature on Friday night, Moyer Jr. advanced eight spots in the 50-lapper notching a 10th place finish.

Wrapping up the 45th Annual DIRTcar Nationals, Billy was one of forty-nine entries signed in on Saturday night. Timing in 8th quickest in his group, Moyer Jr. transferred into the B-Main after placing 5th in his heat. Cruising to a consolation win, Billy earned a 21st starting spot for the feature. Falling four positions, Billy Moyer Jr. retired a 25th place outing in the 50-lap A-Main.

February 13th, 2016 - Continuing on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Billy Moyer Jr. headed to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) on Monday night for the opening night of Winternationals. Competing in a field of thirty-five cars, Billy followed up the 4th fastest qualifying time in his group with a heat race victory. Starting in 4th for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Moyer Jr. was sent to the tail after coming to a halt on lap-10. Battling his way back, Billy Moyer Jr. retired a 21st place finish.

On Tuesday night in a field of forty-one entries, Billy Moyer Jr. transferred into the B-Main for one more shot at the main event after placing 8th in his heat. Needing a 4th place finish or better to make the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Moyer Jr. came up short of a transfer position with a 7th place outing.

The following night, Billy Moyer Jr. logged the 4th fastest qualifying time in his group sending him into his heat with a front row starting position. Transferring the top four into the feature, Moyer Jr. edged his way into the main event with a 4th place finish. After taking the day off to make the trip to Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia), Billy Moyer Jr. was one of forty-six Super Late Model signed in on Friday night for the 2016 season opener of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO). Needing a podium finish in his heat from his 3rd row starting positon, Billy logged a 6th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Transferring the top three into the $8,000-to-win Winter Freeze VI A-Main, Moyer Jr. edged his way into the main event with a 3rd place outing. Starting near the tail, Billy Moyer Jr. retired a 22nd place finish in the 40-lap affair.

Competing in second night of WoO action, Billy earned the pole position for his heat after recording the fastest time in qualfiying in a field of forty-six cars. Cruising to a heat race victory, Moyer Jr. was slated to start 6th for the feature. Paying $10,000 to the winner, Billy Moyer Jr. held his position for all 50 laps retiring a 6th place finish.

February 7th, 2016 - Returning behind the wheel of his Crop Production Services #21JR Super Late Model, Billy Moyer Jr. headed to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Friday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing. Transferring the top four out of the heat and into the feature, Billy edged his way into the main event with a 4th place spot. Battling for a $10,000 payday, Moyer Jr. fell back to a 18th place outing in the 50-lap affair.

On Saturday morning Billy Moyer Jr. was one of forty-one Super Late Models signed in for Thursday’s makeup race, the Edward Coggins Memorial. Registering the 4th fastest qualifying time in his group, Billy edged his way into the 30-lap A-Main with a 4th place heat finish. Paying $7,000 to the winner, Moyer Jr. improved two spots recording a 14th place outing.

Later on in the afternoon, Billy earned a front row starting spot for his heat with the 4th fastest time in his group. Transferring the top four into the main event, Moyer Jr. captured a runner-up finish behind Josh Richards. With the rain eventually settling in, Saturday nights A-Main was postponed to Sunday.
