January 17th, 2016 - For night three of the Wild West Shootout, Billy Moyer Jr. was one of fifty-three Late Models signed in for another $5,000-to-win feature. Starting on the 2nd row for his heat, Billy improved two spots scoring a runner-up finish behind Chris Simpson. Earning a 7th starting position for the 30-lap feature, Moyer Jr. worked his way through the field capturing a 4th place finish behind Jonathan Davenport, Darrell Lanigan, and Shane Clanton with Billy Moyer rounding out the top five. On Friday night, Billy Moyer Jr. improved five spots in his heat going from the 9th position to a 4th place outing. Transferring into the main event with a 5th row starting spot, Billy registered a 15th place finish in the 30-lapper.

Starting on the front row for his heat on Saturday, Moyer Jr. transferred into the consolation event after falling back to a 9th place exit in his heat. Needing a 3rd place finish or better to make the show, Billy failed to make it out for the consolation event, saving his equipment for the final night.

With fifty-three cars signed in on Sunday for the final night of action in the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout, Billy captured a heat race win giving him a 2nd row starting spot for the gransd finale feature paying $11,000 to the 50-lap winner. Slipping back seven spots, Moyer Jr. finished his trip out west with a 10th place finish.

January 10th, 2016 - Billy Moyer Jr. kicked off the 2016 season by making the twenty hour journey to USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) on Saturday for the 10th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. Drawing sixty Super Late Models for the opening night event, Billy scored a 2nd place heat finish behind Ronny Lee Hollingsworth setting him up with a 7th row starting spot for the feature. Battling for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Moyer Jr. fell three spots in the 30-lap affair registering a 17th place finish.
