1April 21st, 2013 - It was scheduled to be a tripleheader weekend for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competitors over the weekend, but Mother Nature nixed Friday night's show at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex (Markleysburg, Pennsylvania).

As a result the weekend opend on Saturday night as Billy entered his first ever event at the historic Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland). He started the night by qualifying second fastest in his group to earn the pole for the fourth heat race. A second place finish in his heat locked him into the eighth starting spot for the 50 lap, $10,000-to-win finale. He raced in the top ten throughout the event before registering an eighth place finish at the checkered flag.

Sunday night found another first for Moyer Jr. as he entered not only his first-ever event in the state of West Virginia, but also his first-ever event at West Virginia Motor Speedway (Mineral Wells, West Virginia). A strong field of 32 entries were on hand for the event and struggles in time trials left Billy starting deep in the heat race grid. Heat race and consolation action found Moyer Jr. falling short of advancing to a transfer spot to the feature, and as a result he was forced to utilize a series' provisional to start the main event in the 23rd position. Billy went on to advance five spots to an 18th place finish in the $10,000-to-win finale.

Moyer Jr. is currently eleventh in the latest LOLMDS standings. Full results from the event and the latest series' standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

April 18th, 2013 - Thursday night took Jr. Motorsports to 201 Speedway (Sitka, Kentucky), where he entered a $4,000-to-win, Spring Nationals event at the clay oval. Thirty-eight Super Late Models registered for action, and a third place finish in his qualifier locked Billy into the twentieth starting spot for the 40 lap main event. During the course of the feature he advanced eight spots on his way to a twelfth place finish at the checkered flag. Full results are available at www.SouthernNationalsSeries.com.

April 13th, 2013 - Billy Moyer Jr. traveled to Kentucky and Missouri over the weekend for the opening rounds of the 2013 campaign for the newly-formed, National Dirt Racing League (NDRL).

Friday night found the team in action at Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Kentucky) in a $20,000-to-win event at the 3/8 mile. A stellar field of fifty-five Super Late Models were on hand for the program, and it would be a tough night for Moyer Jr. as struggles in heat race and b-main action left him short of qualifying for the main event, ending his night early.

On Saturday evening the tour traveled to Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri) as once again a stellar field of fifty entries registered for battle. Billy started the night with a solid, qualifying effort, but once again he battled the handle on his entry in heat race and b-main action, which prevented him from qualifying for the feature.

Full results from both events are available at www.TheNDRL.com.

April 6th, 2013 - The weekend's scheduled doubleheader for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) 1was reduced to a single event over the weekend due to a rainout on Friday night at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi).

As a result Billy entered a single event on Saturday night as he traveled to Lone Star Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) for a $10,000-to-win race. A heavy and rough track awaited the competitors, and after falling just short of locking into the feature via heat race action he finished third in his b-main to lock into the twenty-second starting spot for the 50 lap feature. In a race filled with attrition on the rough track Billy survived to advance ten positions to a twelfth place finish.

Moyer Jr. is currently eleventh in the latest LOLMDS standings. Full results from the event and the latest series' standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com.
