1August 24th, 2013 - Jr. Motorsports took part in the 10th Annual Scorcher at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Thursday evening as 33 entries converged on the 4/10 mile oval for the $10,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) program.

Struggles in heat race and b-main action left Billy short of qualifying for the feature so he was forced to utilize a provisional to start the main event in 24th. Despite starting last in the field as well as battling late-race, mechanical issues Billy was able to race his way to a 13th place finish.

After having Friday night free the team entered the Whiskey 50 at Lawrenceburg Speedway (Lawrenceburg, Indiana) on Saturday night, which drew 28 entries to the state-of-the-art facility. Billy finished 6th in his heat race to lock into the 17th starting spot for the 50 lap feature. Unfortunately early in the feature a carburetor stud would break ending his night in the 20th position.

Billy is 9th in the latest series standings and continues to lead the JRI Shocks Rookie of the Year standings. Full results from the events as well as the latest standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

1August 18th, 2013 - Billy Moyer Jr. entered familiar territory over the weekend with a trip to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) for the 21st Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 presented by Crop Production Services.

Fifty-five Super Late Models converged on the 3/8 mile oval on Friday evening, and the 7th fastest time in his group positioned Billy starting 3rd in his heat race. He raced to a 3rd place finish in his heat race to lock into the 13th starting spot for the 100 lap finale on Saturday evening.

Unfortunately late afternoon rain on Saturday forced the $40,000-to-win finale to be postponed until Sunday afternoon. As the race finally commenced in front of the Lucas Oil Production Studios cameras Billy raced around mid-pack. After a few trips to the pits during the course of the event for tweaks on his entry Moyer Jr. crossed the finish line in the 16th position.

Billy is 9th in the latest series standings and continues to lead the JRI Shocks Rookie of the Year standings. Full results from the events as well as the latest standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

1August 10th, 2013 - The 31st Annual Sunoco North/South 100 was held over the weekend for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), and Billy participated in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned event.

A field of 67 Super Late Models registered for battle on Friday evening, and after via time trials he earned the 4th starting spot for his heat race on Saturday evening. With the top three finishers from each heat transferring to the feature Billy finished one spot short in the 4th position, which relegated him to a b-main. In the b-main he would only be able to manage a 5th place finish, and with only the top two finishers transferring to the feature he was forced to utilize a series' provisional to start 26th on the grid for the 100 lap, $50,000-to-win finale. He would retire early in the event to a 26th place finish.

August 3rd, 2013 - Billy Moyer Jr. opened a doubleheader with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models on Friday evening at North Central Arkansas Speedway (Yellville, Arkansas), and by the time the checkered flag dropped the 2010 CCSDS Champion had claimed his first win of 2013!

Billy started his night by storming to the win in his heat race to earn the New Vision Graphics Pole Award for the feature with Hunter Durham starting to his outside. When the green flag dropped Moyer Jr. bolted to the lead.  That would prove to be as close as anyone got to the Batesville, Arkansas driver as he motored away from the pack to lead all 35 laps of the caution-free event to score his 11th career triumph with the series.  He was followed across the finish line by Jesse Stovall, Jack Sullivan, Kyle Beard, and Hunter Durham.

Saturday evening found Billy chasing a $2,500 payday at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas), and the night started by Moyer Jr. finishing 3rd in his heat race to lock into the 12th starting spot for the 35 lap finale. In the feature he climbed eight spots to finish 4th behind race winner, Jack Sullivan, Kyle Beard, and Chandler Petty.
