1September 28th, 2013 - The Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals opened on Thursday night at the famed Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) as 72 entries converged on the 1/2 mile oval.

The $7,000-to-win, preliminary event found Moyer Jr. qualifying 18th fastest in his group, and with the top eight cars in each heat race being inverted Moyer Jr. started 3rd. He battle for a transfer spot early in the heat before settling into a 6th place finish. With only the top three finishers transferring to the feature he was relegated to a b-main, where he started 18th. Moyer Jr. advanced a few spots in the consolation event, but failed to reach a transfer spot as his night came to an early end.

Friday evening found a fresh, $7,000-to-win event being contested at the mega event, and via time trials and the invert Billy started on the pole of his heat race. Unfortunately he would fade backwards to a 6th place finish, which relegated him to a b-main. In the b-main he would only be able to manage a 16th place finish as his night again ended early.

For Saturday night's finale Moyer Jr. utilized a series' provisional to start 32nd on the grid for the feature, and would advance a few spots in the feature before retiring just before the halfway point to a 21st place finish.

1September 21st, 2013 - After seeing the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event slated for Friday night at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) washed away by Mother Nature, the team traveled to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) for the $15,000-to-win, 34th Annual Jackson 100 on Saturday evening.

Heavy rains from the night prior left the 1/4 mile oval extremely rough, and with 46 entries in the pits Billy raced to a 4th place finish in his heat race to lock into the 15th starting spot for the 100 lap finale. Moyer Jr. would go on to advance three spots to finish 12th in the final rundown.

Billy is 9th in the latest series standings and remains at the top of the JRI Shocks Rookie of the Year standings. Full results from the events as well as the latest standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

September 14th, 2013 - Jr. Motorsports competed in a pair of $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model events in Illinois and Missouri over the weekend.

Action began on Friday night at Belle-Clair Speedway (Belleville, Illinois) as 47 entries looked to conquer the ultra-small oval. A 4th place finish in his heat race moved Moyer Jr. onto the main event, where he started in the 13th position. During the 50 lap finale Billy raced to as high as the 6th position before a late-race restart shuffled him back to an 11th place finish.

The friendly confines of Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri) found 33 entries going to war on a beautiful Saturday evening. Moyer Jr. recorded a 3rd place finish in his heat race to lock into the 9th starting spot for the 55 lap feature at the 1/3 mile oval. Billy raced in the top ten throughout the feature and would ultimately cross the finish line in the 7th position.

1September 7th, 2013 - Billy enjoyed a rare weekend close to home by making the trip to Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) on Saturday evening for a $2,500-to-win event with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS).

Twenty-four Super Late Models registered for battle, and Billy started his night by winning his heat race from the 4th starting spot to lock into the New Vision Graphics Pole for the feature. He was joined on the front row by Kyle Beard, and as the feature went green it was 3rd starting Dane Dacus, who snagged the lead with Moyer Jr. in tow. Billy challenged Dacus for the top spot until lap 13, when a rock through his radiator forced the Batesville, Arkansas driver to retire to a disappointing 17th place finish.

1September 1st, 2013 - Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competition took Billy Moyer Jr. to Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio) for the first time in his career on Friday night as the $10,000-to-win event attracted a field of 31 entries. Heat race difficulties left Billy starting at the back of a b-main, and he was forced to utilize a series' provisional to start the main event in the 23rd position. In the feature he mounted a solid charge as he advanced ten spots on his way to a 13th place finish.

Saturday evening found the River Days Rumble being held at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio), and despite early morning rain the LOLMDS program would be held as schedule as a $15,000 top prize was posted. A 6th place finish in his heat race left him short of transferring to the feature, but a 3rd place finish in his b-main locked Billy into the 21st starting spot for the 50 lap finale. In the main event Moyer Jr. enjoyed a good run as he raced to a 10th place finish.

Sunday night's action was highlighted by the 45th Annual Hillbilly 100 at I-77 Raceway Park (Ripley, West Virginia), which saw a $25,000 winner's check posted for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event. A stout field of 60 Super Late Models entered the program, and Billy started his night by blazing to his heat race win to lock into the 5th starting spot for the feature. During the course of the feature Moyer Jr. ran in the top ten before crossing the finish line in 8th in the coveted event.
