1September 27th, 2014 - A beautiful Fall weekend took Jr. Motorsports to Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) for the 11th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

The three-day extravaganza opened on Thursday evening with a $7,000-to-win event at the 1/2 mile oval. Billy failed to qualify for the finale via preliminary action, and as a result he had to run the b-main. In the b-main he was running in a transfer spot, when he jumped the cushion in turn four bringing his night to an early end.

Friday night found Billy looking for better luck in another $7,000-to-win event. His night started on a high note with him qualifying third fastest in his group. With the top eight starters in heat race action being inverted, Moyer Jr. started eighth on the grid for his. Unfortunately contact from another competitor early in the event resulted in damage that sent Billy pitside, which ended his night.

The weekend drew to a close with the final event on Saturday evening. Via his performances on the first two nights Billy started on the front row of the C-main, which he won to move on to the tail of the B-main. During the first half of the B-main Moyer Jr. failed to advance through the field, and made the decision to retire from the race as his night and weekend came to an end.

September 20th, 2014 - A $3,000 winner's check was up for grabs on Saturday night at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway (Calvert City, Kentucky), and Billy had high hopes of claiming yet another win at the oval. Unfortunately mechanical issues, while leading his heat race brought his night to a disappointing early end. Full results from the event are available at www.KLMSLLC.com.

September 13th, 2014 - Billy Moyer Jr. has always loved Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois), but on Friday night he became even more fond of the place after racing to the $10,000 triumph in the opening round of the St. Louis Showdown.

Thirty-seven entries took part in the event, and Billy started his night by setting fast time in his group before blazing the win in his heat race to earn the second starting spot for the 50 lap feature. Tim Manville jumped to the lead from the pole position, and Moyer Jr. stalked him until lap 23, when he shot into the lead. Once out front Billy held off a hard-charging Brian Birkhofer en route to his eighth win of the season! Birkhofer, Manville, Jason Feger, and Billy Moyer rounded out the top five finishers. Saturday night took the team to Federated Raceway at I-55 for another $10,000-to-win, UMP Super Late Model event. For the second straight night Billy qualified fastest in his group before charging to the win in his heat race. As a result he started third on the grid for the 50 lap feature. He would go on to battle the handle on his entry throughout the event before crossing the finish line in the ninth position. Full results from the event are available at www.I55Raceway.com.

September 5th, 2014 - The 44th Annual World 100 kicked off at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday evening as 118 of the top drivers in the world converged on the 1/2 mile oval for the opening round of the mega-event.

Billy started his outing by qualifying thirty-sixth fastest in the field to earn the third starting spot for his heat race. He battled for a transfer spot throughout the race before finishing one spot short in the fourth position. As a result he was forced to run a b-main, where he raced to the third and final transfer spot. In the 25 lap, $5,000-to-win finale Moyer Jr. enjoyed a stellar run as he advanced seventeen spots on his way to a seventh place finish!

Friday night found the the field again splitting into two groups to battle for a pair of $5,000 top prizes. Billy advanced to a second place finish in his heat race to lock into the twelfth starting spot for the 25 lap feature. During the event he passed six cars to finish sixth behind race winner, Jonathan Davenport, Scott Bloomquist, Brian Birkhofer, Billy Moyer, and Chris Madden.

The final leg of the event was held on Saturday evening as a $47,000 top prize was on the line. Unfortunately Billy failed to qualify for the feature via preliminary action as his weekend came to an early end.
