June 25th, 2016 - Following the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series to the Empire State, Billy Moyer Jr. was one of twenty-seven cars signed in at Weedsport Speedway (Weedsport, New York) on Tuesday night for the Finger Lakes 40. After timing in 6th, Moyer Jr. recorded a 4th place finish in his heat setting him up with a 12th place starting spot for the feature. Losing one position in the 40-lap affair, Billy logged a 13th place outing.

With the weather postponing Thursday night’s events, Billy Moyer Jr. traveled to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pennsylvania) for the opening night of the 10th Annual Firecracker 100 on Friday. Recording the 4th fastest time in his group of twenty-five, Billy earned a front row starting spot for his heat. Cruising to a 10-lap heat race win, Moyer Jr. was slated to start 3rd for the $6,000-to-win A-Main. Hanging on to a top ten finish, Billy Moyer Jr. slipped back to an 8th place finish.

The next day Moyer Jr. would have to rely on the B-Main to make the show after falling one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Storming to a consolation win, Billy earned a 17th place starting spot for the feature. Battling for another $6,000 payday, Billy Moyer Jr. improved three spots registering a 14th place outing.

June 18th, 2016 - Kicking off the opening night of the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals Hell Tour, Bill Moyer Jr. traveled to Kankakee County Speedway (Kankakee, Illinois) on Thursday night. In a field of twenty-six cars, Moyer Jr. battled back in his heat scoring a 3rd place finish after replacing the rear-end following hot laps. Starting in 7th for the feature, Billy fell back to a 16th place outing in the 40-lapper.

On Friday night Billy headed to Hartford Speedway (Hartford, Michigan) for the American Ethanol Late Model Tour event. Drawing thirty-three cars for the DIRTcar show, Moyer Jr. scored a heat race win securing his spot into the $4,000-to-win A-Main. The following night Moyer Jr. stopped at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio) for the American Late Model Series sanctioned Barney Oldfield Memorial. With forty-one cars signed in, Billy started the night off with a heat race win setting him up with a 3rd place starting spot for the feature. Working his way into lead on lap 24, Billy Moyer Jr. held off the field for the final 16 laps capturing his second straight victory and sixth overall on the season. Pocketing a $5,200 payday, Moyer Jr. was trailed by Jon Henry, Cody Mahoney, Jeep Van Wormer, and Dona Marcoullier across the finish line.

June 11th, 2016 - Competing in the 22nd Annual Dirt Late Model Dream, Billy Moyer Jr. was one of seventy-two entries signed in at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) Thursday night for the three-day UMP DIRTcar sanctioned event. Starting on the pole of his heat race, Moyer Jr. held on to a transfer spot into one of the two preliminary A-Main’s with a 3rd place outing. Advancing six positions in the 25-lap feature, Billy posted a 10th place finish in the opening night A-Main.

Returning on Friday for the second night of preliminary events, Billy made an attempt for a last-lap pass for a transfer spot in his heat but came up short falling back to a 7th place finish after making contact with the wall. Transferring the tour four out of the B-Main, Moyer Jr. fell back to a 12th place outing.

Closing out the 22nd Annual Dirt Late Model Dream, Moyer Jr. logged an 8th place finish in his heat giving him one more chance at the 100-lap finale with a B-Main appearance. Sending the top four into the $100,000-to-win A-Main, Billy retired a 21st place finish.
