February 17, 2018 - Monday night brought Billy Moyer Jr. to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) for the six-day DIRTcar Nationals. In a field of 40 cars, Billy slipped back to 8th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Needing to place into the Top 4 to make the opening night feature, Moyer Jr. logged a 6th place outing.

After Mother Nature wiped out Tuesday’s program, Moyer Jr. returned on Wednesday for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series season opener. Following the second fastest time in his qualifying group, Billy bagged a runner-up finish in his heat behind Josh Richards locking him into the 11th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Falling short of a Top-10 finish, Billy Moyer Jr. dropped back to a 31st place outing.

The following night in a field of 47 cars, Billy recorded a 9th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 3 into the show, Moyer Jr. registered a 12th place outing forcing him to rely on a provisional to make the feature. With $10,000 on the line, Billy Moyer Jr. fell two spots to place 30th.

Bringing the 47th annual DIRTcar Nationals to a close on Saturday, Billy suffered a blown motor in the early stages of his heat race preventing him from making it out for his consolation event.

February 10, 2018 - Billy Moyer Jr. followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) on Monday for the opening night of the Wrisco Industries Winternationals. Passing four cars in his heat race, Moyer Jr. landed a 2nd place finish behind Bobby Pierce earning him the 8th-starting position for the A-Main. Returning on Tuesday night, Billy edged his way into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat. Rolling off 13th for the feature, Moyer Jr. jumped up two spots to place 11th.

On Wednesday night with 51 Super Late Models on hand for the $7,000 top prize, Moyer Jr. bagged a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Brandon Overton positioning him 8th on the starting grid for the feature. Coming two spots shy of a Top 5 finish, Billy reeled in a 7th place outing.

After laying down the second fastest time in his group on Thursday, Moyer Jr. bagged a 10-lap heat race victory locking him into the 4th-starting position for the A-Main. With $7,000 the line, Billy dropped back to an 18th place finish after bringing out a caution on lap 23.

With the weather washing away the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series opening weekend at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) on Friday, Billy stayed at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) for the $10,000-to-win main event. Following the fastest time overall in a field of 54 cars, Moyer Jr. cruised to a heat race victory locking him into the pole position for the feature. Hanging on to a Top-5 finish in the 50-lap affair, Billy Moyer Jr. landed a 4th place spot behind Jonathan Davenport, Josh Richards, and Gregg Satterlee with Mason Zeigler coming in 5th.

On Saturday evening for the $12,000-to-win finale, Moyer. Jr laid down the fastest time overall again before charging to a heat race win. Earning the 2nd-starting position for the 60-lap A-Main, Billy caught the inside lip of the berm on the 34th-lap sending him to the tail. He battled back in the the remaining distance to place 19th.

February 3, 2018 - On Friday night Billy Moyer Jr. made the trek to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) kicking off the 2018 season with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Drawing 41 cars for the two-day Rhino Ag Super Bowl of Racing, Billy dropped one spot in his 10-lap heat race to place 7th. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature, Moyer Jr. came up one spot short of a transfer position with a 4th place finish.

The following night, Moyer Jr. recorded a 6th place finish in his heat giving him one final shot at the $12,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 3 into the show, Billy scored a 3rd place finish positioning him 21st on the starting grid for the main event.
