March 31, 2018 - Friday night found Billy Moyer Jr. in action at Timberline Speedway (Maud, Texas) for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned opener. In a field of 24 cars, Moyer registered the fastest time overall qualifying before placing 2nd in his heat. With $2,000 on the line in the feature, Billy was an early retiree after experiencing very rough track conditions.

On Saturday night at Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) for the Bunny Hop Spring Nationals, Billy locked his spot into the main event with a 2nd place finish in his heat. Earning the 4th-starting position for the $2,500-to-win A-Main, Moyer Jr. held his spot for all 40-laps to place 4th behind Hunter Rasdon, Jon Mitchell, and Robert Baker with Gavin Landers coming in 5th. March 24, 2018 - After losing the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Illini 100 to Mother Nature, Billy Moyer Jr. traveled to Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Friday evening for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned program. With 44 cars on hand for The Shamrock, Moyer Jr. logged a 6th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 3 into the opening night feature, Billy came up one spot short with a 4th place outing.

The following night at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) for the Bama Bash, Billy secured his spot into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Earning the 6th-starting position for the feature, Billy Moyer Jr. slipped back to a 23rd place outing in the 50-lap affair. (Heath Lawson photo)
