August 29, 2020 - On Thursday afternoon Billy Moyer Jr. was one of 55 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on hand at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) for the three-day Rumble by the River. After sitting out a rain delay, Billy edged his way into the opening night feature with the third and final transfer spot in his heat race. With $10,000 on the line, Moyer Jr. dropped four spots in the 30-lapper to place 17th.

With continuous rain and an unfavorable forecast wiping out Friday night’s event, Moyer Jr. returned to the half-mile oval on Saturday afternoon for the $15,000-to-win A-Main. Recording a fourth place finish in both his heat and B-Main, Billy was granted a provisional into the finale. Starting in 24th, Moyer Jr. gained three spots in the 50-lap affair to register a 21st place outing.

August 22, 2020 - Billy Moyer Jr. followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) on Thursday night to kick off the 28th annual Comp Cams Topless 100 weekend. Following the fifth fastest lap in his time trial group, Moyer Jr. streaked to a 10-lap heat race victory, which positioned him third on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature. On Friday evening for another $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Billy posted a second place finish in his heat behind Earl Pearson Jr., locking him into the 12th-starting position for the A-Main. Holding his spot for all 30 laps, Moyer Jr. recorded a 12th place finish.

With preliminary results from Thursday and Friday setting the grid for the main event on Saturday night, Moyer Jr. was eighth overall in preliminary points, which positioned him on the fourth row for the feature. With $40,000 on the line, Billy faded 12 spots in the 100-lap affair to register a 20th place outing.

August 15, 2020 - On Wednesday afternoon Billy Moyer Jr. returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) for the 34th annual Ralph Latham Memorial. In a stout field of 53 cars, Moyer Jr. posted a fifth place finish in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. Coming two spots shy of a transfer position with a fourth place finish, Billy had to rely on a provisional into the opening night feature. With $12,000 on the line, Moyer Jr. charged forward eight spots to register a 15th place outing.

The following night for the North/South Shootout, Billy came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fourth place finish. Streaking to a 12-lap consolation victory, Moyer Jr. locked into the 19th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Holding his spot for all 50 laps, Billy Moyer Jr. recorded a 19th place finish.

With a pair of heat races on Friday night setting the grid for the North/South 100 on Saturday, Moyer Jr. charged forward five spots in his first round to finish third. Sitting in 15th overall in passing points, Billy locked into the 15th-starting position for Saturday night’s $50,000-to-win Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100. After suffering a flat tire on lap-82, Moyer Jr. rebounded from the tail to come home 10th.
