May 27, 2020 - Billy Moyer Jr. was one of 35 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries registered in for action at East Bay Raceway Park (Tampa, Fla.) on Monday afternoon for the second half of the Reopening Tour. For the second round of the Geico East Bay Nationals on Tuesday, Billy secured his spot into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. Passing two cars in the 40-lap affair, Moyer Jr. posted a 14th place outing.

On Wednesday evening to wrap up the LOLMDS Reopening Tour, Moyer Jr. posted a fourth place finish in his heat, which positioned him 13th on the starting grid for the finale. With $7,000 on the line, Billy improved two spots to register an 11th place finish.

May 23, 2020 - On Tuesday afternoon Billy Moyer Jr. made the trip to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) kicking off the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Reopening Tour. With 43 cars on hand for the Optima Batteries Golden Isles Nationals, Moyer Jr. edged his way into the opening night feature with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. After multiple visits to the hot-pit, Billy dropped back to a 20th place outing in the 40-lap affair.

The following night in a field of 39 cars, Billy fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish. Coming in second in his B-Main behind Brandon Sheppard, Moyer Jr. locked into the 20th-starting position for the $7,000-to-win A-Main. For the final round of the Golden Isles Nationals on Thursday, Moyer Jr. recorded a sixth place finish in his heat before scratching from his 10-lap B-Main. Receiving a provisional into the $7,000-to-win finale, Billy gained nine spots to place 14th.

On Saturday night Moyer Jr. stopped at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) for the inaugural Gene Maine Memorial. Following the second fastest lap overall in time trials behind Kyle Bronson, Billy streaked to an 8-lap heat race victory. With $6,000 on the line in the feature, Billy scored a fourth place finish behind Brandon Overton, Kyle Bronson, and Jonathan Davenport with Brian Shirley coming in fifth. (Richard Barnes photo)

May 15, 2020 - After Mother Nature shifted the event back a day, Billy Moyer Jr. traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday night for the Magnolia Mayhem 40. In a field of 41 cars, Moyer Jr. timed in sixth fastest in his time trial group before placing third in his heat. May 9, 2020 - With the promoters and track officials mandating several precautionary measures to host the event during the ongoing coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Billy Moyer Jr. invaded Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) on Saturday night for the Karl Chevrolet 50. With 60 cars registered in for action, Moyer Jr. followed up the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group with a second place finish in his heat behind Devin Moran. Earning the ninth-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Billy dropped seven spots in the 50-lapper to record a 16th place outing. (Josh James Artwork)
