1June 22nd, 2013 - Billy began a three day swing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Thursday night at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia). With nineteen entries in the pit area Moyer Jr. earned the eleventh starting spot for the 50 lap, $10,000-to-win feature. He was running tenth early in the event, when he was collected in an accident, which resulted in heavy front end damage. As a result his night ended in the seventeenth position.

Moyer Jr. entered his first-ever event at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Friday evening as he competed in the 15th Annual Grassy Smith Memorial at the speed plant. Twenty-seven LOLMDS competitors entered the program, and a sixth place finish in his heat race transferred him to the sixteenth starting spot for the 50 lap feature. He advanced three spots to finish thirteenth in the final rundown.

Saturday night found the weekend's busy schedule drawing to a close at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Virginia) in a $10,000-to-win program that drew twenty-one entries to the 1/2 mile oval. Struggles in preliminary action positioned Billy starting twenty-first on the feature grid. He would go on to advance seven spots to finish fourteenth.

Billy is ninth in the latest series standings and continues to lead the Rookie of the Year standings. Full results from the weekend are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

1June 15th, 2013 - It was back to business for Billy Moyer Jr. and Jr. Motorsports with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) over the weekend as he traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the annual Clash at the Mag.

Forty-six Super Late Models converged on the state-of-the-art oval, and a third place finish in his heat race on Friday evening transferred Billy to the ninth starting spot for Saturday night's 100 lap finale. A massive crowd and the Lucas Oil Production Studio cameras were on hand to catch all of the action in the $20,000-to-win feature, and Moyer Jr. raced to as high as the sixth position before settling into an eighth place finish.

Billy now leads the Rookie of the Year standings with the LOLMDS and is tenth in the overall standings. Full results from the program are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

June 8th, 2013 - Jr. Motorsports entered the opening night of the 19th Annual Dream 100 on Thursday night at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio). Eighty-four Super Late Models took to the famed, 1/2 mile oval, and via time trials Billy earned the second starting spot for his heat race. He led the first eight laps of his heat before Scott Bloomquist slipped by to claim the lead and the win. Via his heat race finish Moyer Jr. earned the eighth starting spot for the 25 lap, $2,500-to-win feature. Early in the main event he raced in the top ten before settling into a fourteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

Friday evening found the field again being divided in half as a pair of $5,000-to-win features were held. Heat race action found Billy advancing from the fifth starting spot to a third place finish, which locked him into the twelfth starting spot for the 25 lap finale. In the feature he raced around mid-pack throughout before crossing the finish line in the fifteenth position.

The finale of the mega-event was held on Saturday night as a $100,000 top prize awaited the victor of the finale. Billy started seventh in his heat race, and advanced one spot to finish sixth. With only the top three cars moving onto the feature he was forced to run the b-main, where he started in the fifteenth position. As the b-main went green he began clawing his way forward, and would battle for the sixth and final transfer spot for much of the feature before falling just one spot short of making the feature as his night came to an early end.
