1May 25th, 2013 - The qualifying night for the $30,000-to-win, 21st Annual Show Me 100 was held on Friday evening at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri). A strong field of 72 entries registered for action in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned event. On a very rough track Billy struggled in qualifying and heat race action, which left him starting deep in a b-main on Saturday night. After failing to advance to the feature he was forced to utilize a series' provisional to start the main event thirty-first on the grid. He went on to pass thirteen cars on his way to an eighteenth place finish.

1May 18th, 2013 - Billy Moyer Jr. was in familiar territory over the weekend as he competed in the 2nd Annual Bad Boy 98 at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas), which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

Forty competitors took to the 3/8 mile oval, and heat race action on Friday night found Billy falling one spot short of transferring to the feature as he registered a fifth place finish. As a result he was forced to run a b-main on Saturday night, which he won to lock into the eighteenth starting spot for the 98 lap, $20,000-to-win finale. He would go on to run around mid-pack for the duration of the feature before registering a fourteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

Billy continues to be second in the latest LOLMDS Rookie of the Year standings and eleventh overall in the points. Full results from the event and the latest series' standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

1May 11th, 2013 - Jr. Motorsports made the trek to northern Illinois over the weekend for a pair of $10,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) races at La Salle Speedway (La Salle, Illinois). Unfortunately inclement weather from the night prior left the 1/4 mile oval extremely wet, and shortly before hot laps on Friday night track crews made the decision to cancel the evening's festivities due to unsafe conditions.

As a result a single program was contested on Saturday night, which drew a field of thirty-eight entries to the facility. Qualifications found Billy registering the fifth fastest time in his group. After starting third in his heat race he missed the transfer spot to the feature by one spot, and was forced to run a b-main. After finishing second in his b-main he locked into the nineteenth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. He would advance a few spots early in the feature before ultimately retiring to a twenty-third place finish.

Moyer Jr. is currently eleventh in the latest LOLMDS standings. Full results from the event and the latest series' standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

May 4th, 2013 - With Mother Nature again wreaking havoc on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) as both weekend events were nixed by rain, Jr. Motorsports headed south for a pair of $2,000-to-win, COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model events.

Action opened on Friday evening at the brand new, Timberline Speedway (Corley, Texas) as a stout field of thirty-eight entries registered for battle at the 3/8 mile oval. Unfortunately the track surface would not be conducive to passing, and after drawing a big number at the pill draw Billy stared fifth in his heat race before advancing to a fourth place finish, which left him short of locking into the feature. He went on to finish second in his b-main to lock into the main event in the twentieth starting spot. With rubbered-up conditions present in the feature Moyer Jr. retired early from the event to save his equipment. He was credited with a 22nd place finish.

Saturday night found the team at the racy confines of Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) as the pit area was crowded with another great field of forty-four competitors. A ninth to third run in his heat race locked Billy into the eighth starting spot for the 35 lap finale. He would go on to advance three spots to record a fifth place finish behind race winner, Wendell Wallace, Ross Camponovo, Tommy Surrett, and Ray Moore.
