12th-place finish in Summer Sizzler Nationals at Florence

Billy Moyer Jr. made the trip to Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) on Friday night for the General Tire Summer Sizzler Nationals. Drawing 33 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries for the two-day event, Moyer Jr. laid down the sixth fastest time in his group before placing third in his heat. Saturday night’s $12,000-to-win finale fell victim to Mother Nature.
