Top-10 finish in Duel in the Desert finale

Billy Moyer Jr. made the trek to Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Las Vegas, Nev.) on Friday afternoon to enter his Nutrien Ag Solutions No. 21jr Late Model into battle for the Duel in the Desert. Drawing 32 cars for the two-day event, Moyer Jr. came in seventh in his heat before placing third in his B-Main. The following night, Billy timed in fourth-fastest in his qualifying group before scoring a second-place finish in his heat race. Starting the $50,000-to-win finale in seventh, Moyer Jr. carried a steady pace throughout the 77-lapper to finish seventh.
