Moyer Jr. attends Topless 100 at Batesville

After Mother Nature condensed the three-day event into a two-day program, Billy Moyer Jr. was one of 47 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) on Friday for the 29th annual Comp Cams Topless 100. Following the fourth fastest qualifying effort in his group, Moyer Jr. jumped up one spot in his heat to capture the 10-lap victory. Starting the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature in second, Billy dropped seven spots to cross the line in ninth.

With his ninth-place finish in Friday pinning him on the fifth row for Saturday night’s $40,000-to-win Topless 100, Billy lost three positions in the 100-lap affair to finish 12th.
