Later Friday evening for the Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson, Billy came in fourth in his heat race before picking up a 10-lap consolation victory. With $6,000 on the line in the feature, Moyer Jr. held his spot for all 40 laps to finish 21st.
On Saturday afternoon, Moyer Jr. recorded a fourth-place finish in his B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the $30,000-to-win Show-Me 100. Starting in 26th, Billy was an early retiree from the 100-lapper on lap 46.
