BMJ races to Top-10 finish in FAL Frenzy finale

Drawing 35 Late Models for the FALS Frenzy opener, Moyer edged his way into Friday’s prelim with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Retiring on lap 32 of the feature, Billy was credited with a 19th-place finish.
Rebounding with a strong start on Saturday, Billy laid down the second-fastest time in his group but was ran over in his heat race while battling for the lead. Earning the 17th-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main via consolation victory, Moyer charged forward seven spots in the 50-lap affair to place 10th.
The team will head south this coming weekend as Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.) hosts the XR Southern All Star Series for the 29th annual Spooky 50. The two-day event will kick off on Friday with a $3,000-to-win event and wrap up on Saturday with $7,000 on the line.
