With a third-place finish in his heat race placing him on the sixth row for the opening night feature, Moyer Jr. clawed forward two spots in the 40-lap affair to register a 10th-place finish.
For another $10,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday at 81 Speedway (Park City, Kan.), Billy laid down the second-fastest time in his group before placing second in his heat. Mounting a late charge after dropping as far back as 18th, Moyer Jr. steered to a 13th-place finish.
On Sunday afternoon at U.S. 36 Raceway (Osborn, Mo.), Moyer Jr. edged his way into the finale with a seventh-place finish in his heat. With $10,000 on the line, Billy gained five positions in the 40-lapper to finish 14th.
